Finding The Perfect His & Hers Christmas Gift Sets With Debenhams.*

Finding the perfect Christmas gift can be a mammoth task – especially for those family members who seem to have everything – and with less than two weeks until the big day, time is (rather quickly) running out. But have no fear my lovelies, as always I'm here to help *sassy girl emoji*One present  that always ticks the right boxes is a trusty perfume set, and these gorgeous Hollister Wave For Him and For Her perfume sets, which are available at Debenhams*, are just the ticket.
I don't know about you, but when I go shopping in Hollister I notice two things. The first, and most obvious, is that it's pitch black. Walking around in there requires a small torch or else you have to hold every item of clothing up to the light in order to see anything properly, and often you walk out realising you have a completely different product to the one you intended to purchase. The second is the smell. Sweet, floral and downright delicious, I love trying out their fragrances and I love that they've brought out these His and Hers gift sets this year, as it means you can treat your other half and choose one for yourself too!

Both sets come in pretty packaged boxes, sporting the Californian surf brand's typical beach style packaging. It's simple and not as luxurious as other gift sets on the market, but the fact that it's already boxed means you don't have to worry too much about wrapping. Pop it in a festive bag and you're good to go!

Wave For Her | £36

The Wave For Her EDP (100ml) comes in a beautifully tinted pink bottle that is sure to look lovely on your dressing table. I really like the sleek finish and the dainty logo printed onto the front, as it's nice and subtle and I'm not overly fussed on crazy branding. It's accompanied by a shower gel, and I love that this means you can double up on fragrances by using this in the shower and spritzing the EDP afterwards. This makes the perfume far more long lasting.

Blending woody notes of sandalwood and crystal amber, with sweeter, floral notes like poppy, hibiscus and orchid, this is a really girly, carefree (if you can describe a perfume as carefree) fragrance and I really, really like it. Honestly, it's a scent that is most likely to be enjoyed by a younger demographic (it is Hollister after all) so I wouldn't recommend this gift for your nan, but for a younger sibling or a friend it's a really lovely one. A little spritz also goes a long way, as it can be overpowering, so the bottle is sure to last you through winter and well into spring!

Wave For Him | £36.00

The male counterpart of Hollister's 2016 gift set also contains a 100ml EDP, as well as a hair and body wash. Oh, to be able to get your hair and body washed using one small bottle of product instead of having to choose from your overflowing bathroom shelves, eh ladies? Likewise, the perfume bottle is faintly tinted, and is shaped and coloured to give it more of a masculine edge. Though I do feel the pink bottle looks more "classy" than the blue, but that's just personal preference.

The Wave For Him scent also combines woody notes, such as driftwood and salt, with fruity notes, like grapefruit and cypress, but the addition of musk and tonka bean really tones down the sweetness to create a truly masculine scent, albeit with a twist. I got Dan to test this out and he was really impressed with the longevity of the fragrance, which means it's also likely to be very long-lasting, and I really liked the smell on him too, so it's a win-win!

Honestly, I've been very impressed with these gift sets as I wasn't really sure they'd be for me. I tend to opt for luxury, high-end perfume brands but I've definitely overlooked Hollister as they have some lovely fragrances and these gift sets provide the perfect prezzie for friends or family members. Like I said, they're definitely more suited to younger people, but at just £36.00 for two long-lasting, wearable and deliciously smelling products you really can't go wrong.

Have you finished your Christmas shopping?
Lots of love. xoxo
